Victoria Hospital is planning to expand its facilities by setting up a 1000 bed and 30 intensive care units. The new facilities are being set up to facilitate Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute which has been granted Medical college status for Bowring Hospital in Bangalore. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 680 million. It is likely to go operational by the year 2021.
In December 2019, the foundation stone for the project has been laid.
