Mangalore Municipal Corp is planning to set up a Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Processing Plant in Mangalore. It plans to set up a 150 tpd bio Biomethanation-cum-Bio-CNG Plant with a Closed Vessel System where there is no emission of Green House Gases to the environment & no problem of odor and birds & rodents.
It also plans to set up a 150 tpd RDF-cum-Incineration Plant. The combustibles are separated for the production of RDF. It may be noted that, RDF will burn with less emissions of sulphur di oxide and nitrogen oxide.
