South India Paper Mills plans expansion programme

South India Paper Mills is planning to expand its paper mill in Chikkayana Chatra village in Mysuru district of Karnataka.

The project involves expanding packaging paper and kraft paper capacity from 56,700 tpa to 1,04,300 tpa and also increasing its captive power plant from 7.5 MW to 11.0 MW. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 203 crore.

As of November 2019, the project is in planning stage.
