G M Sugars & Energy Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Chatnahalli in Hirekerur Tehsil in Haveri district of Karnataka. The project involves setting up of molasses based distillery with a capacity of 120 klpd, sugar crushing capacity of 10000 tcd and a cogeneration power plant of 50 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 3500 million.
