Yaragatti Sugars Pvt Ltd – a subsidiary of Satish Sugars Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Chandragi village in Ramdurg Taluk in Belagavi district of Karnataka. The project involves setting up of 120 klpd distillery to produce rectified spirit, ethyl alcohol, extra neutral alcohol and a cogeneration power plant of 5.0 MW. Land required for the project is already available. The distillery will be in operation for 300 days.
