Hero Future Energies has commissioned the large-scale hybrid renewable energy project a combination of sun and wind power in Raichur district of Karnataka. It has set up a 28.8 MW solar power project in the existing wind farm of 50 MW. Many of the solar panels have been installed in the spaces between the turbines. For this project, the company had acquired a few more acres as solar power project normally require 5-7 acre per MW depends on technology.
