Karnataka government is planning to set up world standard amusement park lie Disney World in Krishna Raj Sagar dam in Mysuru in Karnataka. The state government is planning to invite global bids to implement the project. Land required for the project is already available which is estimated at 279 acres. The government also plans to have a grand statute of Goddess Cauvery 60 meter in 120 meter pedestal in the lagoon. The project is to be implemented on public private partnership basis and is expected to be completed in two years time.
Some of the other features include Grand Street (flanked by miniature historical buildings of Karnataka and shops) and a Grand Sthamb and other amusement concepts at the place. The place will have ample car parking facilities for 5000 cars.
